2x+1=0
2x=-1
x=-1/2

p(x)=2x3-11x2-4x+5
= 2(-1/2)3-11(-1/2)2-4(-1/2)+5
= 2(-1/8)-11(1/4)-3+5
=-1/4-11/4+2
=-1-11+4/4
=-8/4
=-2 is not equal to 0

Ans:- the given p(x) is not a multiple of given g(x)
