 {(x + 1)}^{2} = 2(x - 3) \\ \\ {x}^{2} + 1 + 2x = 2x - 6 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + 1 + 6 + 2x - 2x = 0 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + 7 = 0 \\ \\ since \:it \: is \: in \: form \: of \: a {x}^{2} + bx + c = 0 \\ \\ where \: a = 1 \: ,b = 0 ,\: c = 7 \\ \\ which \: is \: in \: form \: of \: quadratic \: equation.
