You just have to check the common difference.

For the first two terms,

common difference=

 \sqrt{8 }  -  \sqrt{2}

2 \sqrt{2}  -  \sqrt{2}

 \sqrt{2}

For the next two terms,

Common difference=

 \sqrt{18}  -  \sqrt{8}

3 \sqrt{2}  - 2 \sqrt{2 }

 \sqrt{2}

Since the common difference is same,

the series is an A.P. with a common difference if √2.
