Another easy method is put x+2=0 i.e x=-2 and put that -2 in that cubic equation if x+2 is a factor then on solving that u will get -8+12-10+6 i.e it will give a zero if the term isn't giving zero then probably it isn't a factor

x+2 is a factor of p(x)=x³+3x²+5x+ 6 only if zero of polynomial x+2 is also the zero of p(x)
(u havva use factor theorem)
p(-2)=-2³+3×(-2)²+5×(-2)+6
=>-8+12-10+6
=>0
(u havva use factor theorem)
p(-2)=-2³+3×(-2)²+5×(-2)+6
=>-8+12-10+6
=>0
