See the Answer Below Mate:-

=>a= 3x-5

=>a= 3(2)-5

=>a= 6-5

=>a= 1= 3x-5

Hence, x=2 is solution of a= 3x-5=1

Given,

Polynomial p(x) => 3x-5 = 1

and the value of x = 2

To check whether the given value is the zero of the polynomial or not,first we have to substitute the value in the given polynomial. If the remainder is equal to zero or L.H.S = R.H.S then it is the zero of polynomial.

So,now substitute the value of x in the given polynomial.

=> 3(2) - 5 = 1

=> 6 - 5 = 1

=> 1 = 1

As the L.H.S = R.H.S, 2 is the zero/solution of the polynomial.
