check whether x^3-3x+1 is a factor of x^5-4x^3+x^2+3x+1 or not?

Here, Remainder = 2 ≠ 0

Since the remainder obtained on dividing f (x) by g(x) is not zero, therefore, g(x) is not a factor of f (x).
