The HCl is highly reactive chemical compound and it easily reacts with the chemical compounds like the phosphorus pentoxide or the calcium oxide. When the HCl reacts with phosphorus pentoxide,the metaphosphoric acid and phosphoryl chloride are generated. ... That's why P2O5 or CaO are not used
