Explanation:

1. Camphor disappears without leaving any residue as it undergoes sublimation.

2. We feel cool as we touch a ice cube because it has very low temperature than our body do possess.

3.a 573K − 273.15 = 299.85°C

b 36°C + 273.15 = 309.15K

c 373°C + 273.15 = 646.15K

4. evaporation is defined as a natural process, in which the increase in temperature and/or pressure changes liquid into gas. Boiling is a bulk phenomenon, in the sense that it occurs throughout the liquid. Conversely, evaporation is surface phenomena, which take place only on the surface of the liquid.

5. When evaporation occurs then than the liquid (mostly water) absorbs all the heat from the surroundings and take it with it and we feel cool. evaporation causes cooling effect because the heat energy is abosorbed by surrounding particles.

6.In salt , the force of attraction is maximum as it is a solid .

in water, force of attraction is lesser than the salt as it is a liquid.

oxygen has very weak force of attraction between it as the particles are spread far away from each other. so decreasing order will be -

salt <water<oxygen

7. The zig-zag movement of small particles suspended in a liquid or a gads is called Brownian motion.Brownian motion tells us that the particles are tiny nature and the particles of a matter are constantly moving.

8. Diffusion

9. Latent heat of vaporization is a physical property of a substance. ... When a material in liquid state is given energy, it changes its phase from liquid to vapor; the energy absorbed in this process is called heat of vaporization. The heat of vaporization of water is about 2,260 kJ/kg, which is equal to 40.8 kJ/mol.

1) Camphor is a sublime... so when we hear it on its certain temperature... it sublimates, this process is called sublimation (change in state from solid to gas and gas to solid directly) [tell me in the comments in which standard are u (the one who is asking the question)]

2) We feel cool when we touch ice because-

i) of its low temperature (I am not sure about this) toching our body which has a higher temperature... so the ice traps our body heat and we feel cool...........(nice song btw)

3) I suppose we have to turn K into C and C into K...?

whatever, here's the answer...

follow one thing you'll learn by this...

From K to C - subtract 273 from it

From C to K - add 273 to it

4) basically we have to differentiate between melting and boiling...

the change which takes place after boiling a liquid is that the liquid turns into vapours whereas in melting, the solid turns into liquid.

5) When evaporation take place it takes away the heat of the body... so we feel cool... it's the same phenomenon with the ice thing u asked.

do one thing, try it urself... you'll see...xD

6) Salt>water>oxygen

this is because... salt is solid and solids have more force of attraction then liquids and liquids have more force of attraction then gases i.e. oxygen
