(a) Ans: stability of Ethene and Propane mixed gas hydrates under deep water conditions

(b) Ans: but-2-ene is a symmetrical molecule as compared to but-1-ene and therefore is more stable than the latter.

(c) Ans: iso-propyl cation is more stable than n-propyl

(d) Ans: iso- butyl cation is more stable because it has 9 alpha hydrogens as compare to sec-butyl cation
