Anne Frank is the main character of the book “ DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL”, which is her autobiography. Anne Frank was born on June 12,1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. She had a happy and a blessed childhood. In spite of an easy and comfortable life, Anne calls herself a lonely adolescent as she had no one around her close enough to open her heart to. On her 13th birthday, Anne received a diary, which becomes her true confident. Anne names this diary Kitty and begins to express her innermost thoughts and feelings by writing in the diary. Anne is a keen observer, which she is evident from her meticulous description of events and persons. Anne's diary entries show from the outset that she is content and optimistic despite the threats and danger her family faces . Anne has a flair for writing and she turns her assignments into humorous essays.
