Answer:

The best years of one’s life are the childhood days. The sweet memories of this period are glorious. They have the freshness of a dream. A child has no responsibilities; He is looked after by his parents. He gets everything without doing anything. A child enjoys perfect freedom. He has no worries, no hardships and no troubles. He can say anything to anybody. If a child does something wrong, he is generally excused. Even his meaningless chatter is a source of joy. A child’s life is full of innocence. He builds castles of sand and feels very happy. He gets joy in floating paper boats. He often quarrels with others over small things but soon forgets about it, Childhood is really the golden period of one’s life.

Answer:

I was walking in the forest. Suddenly, a loud noise sounded throughout the forest, bouncing off the trees. It might be a beat, I thought. It seemed to be coming from up that hill. I walked towards the hill, curiously. I started to become worried as another horrific cry erupted. I saw something or someone standing on the top of the hill. Their back towards me. Their dark figure stood there as if it were waiting for something. The hill was growing steep and I was becoming hungry. I could tell from the monstrous growls it's making. The person standing on the hill remained. Oblivious to my hungry stomach. I crouched down. I could feel the warm grass as I stalked toward them. Without warning, they turned around. Their face was twisted in dismay. Its eyes were closed, the wind made the rags on its crooked body flutter. They let out another loud cry as darkness wrapped around me like a blanket. The grass wasn't so warm anymore. It was cold and sharp as thorns. It let out another cry as its eyes shot open. Its eyes were white and glowing. Almost blinding. I could feel the blood in my ears, my head spinning, and my fingers going numb. I closed my eyes but the light was so powerful it felt like my skin was melting. I felt an ice-cold hand grip around my neck. The fingers were bony but held on tight. I kept my eyes closed not wanting to look at the creature. Something powerful made my eyes fly open. It was the creature!! It made me look into its eyes. I started to feel sluggish. I tried to fight but my arms and legs wouldn't move properly. I felt as if my life was being sucked out of me.

I woke up with a headache! I looked around! I was still on the hill. The creature was gone but I could feel someone else's presence. I got up to get a better look at things. I noticed that I was skinny and bony. I felt cold. I saw the body of someone on the ground. They started shifting and gaining strength. I noticed it was me.
