chlamydomonas is microscopic wheareas sargassum is macroscopic both are algae. which charecter of these plants include them in one group?​

1. Both of them have thalloid body for which they could be placed in the same group of plant Kingdom

2. both of them lack vascular bundle

3. and nor does any of them have root like stem like or leaf like structures as in bryophytes

4. none of them produce fruits or seeds

but for studying purposes we take chlamydomonas under algae

chlamydomonas-- chlorophyceae(green)

saragassum-------phaeophyceae(brown)

****they both contains chlorophyll pigment as chlorophyll a, b  and chlorophyll a, c respectively.

hence they are grouped together in algae.
