Why is electric current taken oppostite to the flow of electrons when its made up of electron???

this is because electric current always flows from positive terminal to negative terminal......
that is from positive to negative
while in case of electrons, electrons always flow from negative to positive as they are negatively charged particles...
that's why the flow of current is taken opposite to the flow of electrons in a circuit...
