Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Kush along with his blind mother in Burma (now Myanmar). He was a brave and kind hearted man. He had a small bussiness of tea leaves and was living in a small hut. During those times, Kings and Queens were the rulers of the country. One day, a news came that a dragon had kidnapped the queen and taken her to his lair (means den). The King ordered that the one who will rescue the queen will be awarded with Rubies, Diamonds, Sapphires and emaralds but still nobody was having the courage to go inside the dragon's lair and rescue the queen as it was quite deep except Kush who was ready to rescue the queen. He went to his mother and took the permission. His mother gave him a sword and told him that this sword will help him to defeat the dragon. There was a dragon's image at the handle of the sword. Kush took the sword and asked the ministers and officials of the kingdom to provide a strong and thick rope and a basket strong and big enough for a person to sit on it. He said to the ministers and officials, 'when I will find the queen I will make her sit on the basket and give a signal by shaking the rope and then you will pull her up and then again you will throw the basket and then I will sit on the basket and give you a signal and then you will pull me up. The ministers and officials agreed with his idea. He went down the deep lair and started searching for the queen. He founded the queen and asked her to follow him. In the meanwhile, a piece of his trouser torn and get into the queen's hand. He make her sit on the basket, gave the signal and the ministers and officials pull her up. They were so exuberant to see the queen that they forget to send back the basket to Kush and returned to their kingdom. They told the king that they had saved the queen. Kush shouted but there was no response. After a short while, the dragon returned to the place where he kept the queen. When he saw that the queen had disappeared he became violent and when he saw Kush standing there, he attacked on him. But Kush defeated him through his sword. He found another hole going furthur down. He jumped into the hole and reached a new world where the trees were made of silver, the fruits were made of rubies and the houses were made of Golds. He was bewildered by looking at those things. Then, the head of the dragon with a human face came to him and asked him, 'why did you come here? This is our place.' Kush told him the entire story and the dragon understood that he is a good man. He promised him that he will send him back after a week. In the meanwhile, the queen was melancholic, the king asked her about the reason for her sadness. The queen replied,' the ministers and officials had not saved me instead of them a man had saved me. I don't know him but I had a piece of his trouser. The king made a idea and told the queen, ' we will celebrate your returning for seven days. It is obvious that he will come. I will order the ministers and officials to match the piece of trouser. On the seventh day, the dragon send him to his land. He came to know that a festival is being celebrated. He joined the festival. The ministers and officials matched the piece of trouser and it got matched. The ministers took him to the king. The king asked, 'you have saved the queen?' He replied yes. Both the king and queen was very exuberant and the king rewarded him with Rubies, Diamonds, Sapphire and Emaralds. Kush was very happy and lived a luxurious life.
