n Tamil Nadu, kinship is in its most developed form and is founded  on a number of basic units. The first unit is the nucleus of the family, consisting of father, mother and their children. The second unit is the joint family of two or three generations  of a segment of lineage - grand father, grandmother, their married sons and their wives and children or in some cases, groups of brothers and their families using resources in common and often eating jointly  and having common residence. The next unit is formed out of marriage attachment to wife's relation.

ANSWER IS HERE

A most prominent tribal group Irugar is living in Attapadi,Kerala even today. In the deepest of forests where common people will not go.Their life is very different. They usually follow strict customs aboutclothes ,food, shelter ,etc. They have to lead a very diificult life as the area is surrounded by wild animals. They wear clothes made from leaves and mainly have food as meat from animals.Years ago in the programes of government, a small ration shop has opened here to give supplies of rice, wheat, etc.

Now schools are also opened here. The tribal members will get educated, will contest for jobs and elections and have the right to vote. This is all because of our Constitution and government. This tribe is been improved by education and oppurtunities. Some people started to live in cities for jobs.It has been a great succes for these tribes performed by the government .
