Choose the correct and give the correct reason

In a certain language, 278 means APPLES ARE SWEET, 357 means JAMOON TASTES SWEET and 982 means APPLES ARE RED. Which digit means RED in this language.

the answer is d)
in 278 and 357 ,- the word sweet is common and the digits common are 7. So 7 stands for 'sweet '.



Similarly , in 278 and 982 'apples' and 'are' are common ,and the digits 8 and 2 are common ; so , in 982 :- 8 and 2 stands for ' apples' and 'are' . The remaining one is 9 . So , 9 stands for RED
