Answer:

circumference= 2pie r

pie= 3.14

154/3.14× 2 =24.5 cm approx= radius

Now area= pie r^2

3.14 × (24.5)^2

=1884.78 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Circumference of a circle = 154 cm

So,

By the problem,

2πr           =       154 cm

=>  2 ×\frac{22}{7} × r  =    154 cm

=>  r =  154 × \frac{7}{22} × \frac{1}{2}

      =  24.5

We got the radius of the circle as 24.5 cm (Ans) (i)

∴ Area of the circle = πr^{2}

                                 = \frac{22}{7} × 24.5 cm × 24.5 cm

                                  = 1,886.5 cm^{2}  (Ans) (ii)
