Some examples of situations where I encountered miscommunication while talking with people of different nationalities:-
- Not knowing the language can be a huge problem in communicating with foreigners. When my Uncle went to Germany, he could not understand Dutch, but he had taken the help of a local translation book.
- He went to eat in a restaurant and he ordered food from the menu card. He thought he had ordered something and something else was served to him.
- When I was in Singapore, I faced the problem of reading the maps. I couldn't understand their language. Luckily I had a tour guide with us.
- These are a few examples of miscommunication with people of different nationalities.
