1. Glass jars, plastic bottles, cans: Use as a container for kitchen condiments such as salt, pepper, vinegar. Glass jars with covers are perfect to preserve food.

2. Old newspapers and magazines: Use as a wrapper for gifts. Be creative. Some people can also weave baskets or trays out of recycled papers.

3. Plastic bags: Use as a liner for  trash bins or as a bag for your pet waste. If you cannot reuse them at the grocery store then you can cut them into small pieces and stuff inside bottles to make ecobricks which can be used as chairs, fences, etc.
