Due to large size of Cl & also low ionisation enthalpy of Cl as compared to F.

It is because the flourine atom is very small in size due to which there are interelectonic repulsion between electrons due to which the outer coming electron feel greater repulsive force which causes more energy to add electron in flourine atom.
