would it be cropping? Because if you don't want something in your picture you would crop it out. Hopefully that's right.

An unwanted part of a picture can be removed in a word processing program through many ways.
However, the best remains the Cropping feature, using which a photo can be cropped as per requirement.
Basic margin cropping can also be done as needed if the unwanted portion is small in size.
However, if Claire needs to remove a large portion of a picture, then it is ideally suitable to cover it with colors, if it looks well in that way.
