Q -> A charged particle of charge q_0 is moved around a charge +q along a circular path of radius r from A and B. The workdone is ..

  1. \frac{1}{4\pi\epsilon_0}\frac{qq_0}{r}
  2. \frac{1}{4\pi\epsilon_0}\frac{2qq_0}{r}
  3. \frac{1}{4\pi\epsilon_0}\frac{qq_0}{r}\pi r
  4. zero.

solution : The charged particle is moving on the equipotential surface. I mean, potential at point A = potential at point B.

so potential difference = 0

we know, workdone due to charge is product of charge and potential difference

i.e., W = q_0 × ∆V

= q_0 × 0

= 0

Therefore workdone is zero. so option (4) is correct choice.
