Hi mate,

The real cause of Tricki's health was overeating and the overconcern of Mrs. Pumphrey to him. She gave some extras with the food to build up Tricki such as cod liver oil, meat and cup of Horlicks. Tricki was also fond of chocolate and ice cream. This all resulted in making tricki a bloated sausage and fall into ill.
