Answer:

Given:- A line segment joining the points A(−2 ,−2) and B(2,−4). P is a point on ... 7AP=3(AP +BP). 7AP=3AP+3BP ... Point P divides AB internally in the ratio 3:4. ... No Signup required .

Answer:

HERE, AP= 2/5 AB

IT MEANS THAT POINT P DIVIDED THE LINE IN

HE RATIO WHERE m = 2 & n= 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Using section formula ,

Let the coordinates of point P ( x, y)

x = (mx2 + nx1) / m+n

x = (2*-8 + 5*-1 ) / 2+5

x = (-16 -5) / 7

x = - 21 / 7

x = -3

Now for y

y = (my2 + ny1) / m+n

y = (2*5 + 5*-7) / 2+5

y = ( 10 + - 35) / 7

y = -25/7
