according to ohms law
V=IR
SO, here V=72v
I=?
R=7+5(since it is connected in series)
so I= 72/12
=6ampere
NOW, V=6*5
=30
HOPE IT HELPS

preeti2323: ya..
preeti2323: but i have problem.
preeti2323: in question there is written..
SayanCR7: anything.....
SayanCR7: aay whats ur problem
preeti2323: that find the current in each resistance.
SayanCR7: ohhhhhh
SayanCR7: then it would be 72/7 and 72/5
SayanCR7: it would come is decimel
preeti2323: but at last what will be the voltage across 5 ohm
