The steps taken by the govt to improve indian agriculture are:-
- Green revolution and white revolution operation flood were aimed at to increase the productivity.
- Many new grameen and cooperatives bank were established by banking sector to provide loan facilities to farmer at low rate of interest.
- Kisaan credit card was introduced for purchasing of inputs required for agriculture like seeds, machines.
- To encourage the farmers to use modern methods of agriculture govt.
- It provides various subsides rates for inputs like irrigation, power and, fertilizers, etc.
