Dr.sadao was a traitor to the nation as he thought of his profession first n the nation later.
Also he didn't thought of the army mens out there fighting day n night for their security but instead helped an enemy of the nation.
Even after the servants said that his being treated badly by so many things like water, bullet ,sand means the god does not want to save him he still operated on him.
