Answer:

total potential difference in the circuit is 12-6 = 6 volt and both resistance are in parallel form so 1/Req= 1/r1+1/r2 ,, 1/Req=1/2+1/4 then Req is 4/3 ohm and current in the circuit is V/Req , 6×3/4 then I is 4.5 amp and we know that in parallel form potential difference same for all resistance so current in 2ohm resistance is V=i1×r1 ,, 6=i1×2 then i1= 3 amp and current in 4 ohm resistance is 6/4 then 1.5 amp ,,,...... power in 4 ohm resistance is p=i2^2×r ,, p=1.5×1.5×4 , p=9 watt
