- Abbot of Aberbrothok have placed a big bell on the Inchcape rock,so that in hard storm people who could not see the rock may understand by the voice of bell.It was considered a good deed because people were helped.
- People use bless the Abbot because he helped the people in their journey by placing the bell on the rock.
- Sir Ralph stole excessive gold and money and he was enjoying the situation.
- Sir Ralph cut the bell from the rock and thrown in the sea.He cut the bell so that people may die and nobody should bless the Abbot.
- When he returned there was storm occurring and lots of rain coming with full of lighting.
- Sir Ralph came to the rock where he thrown the bell and crashed to the rock.His wicked deed was avenged by the rock.
