  2. A diet that contains all the required nutrients like carbohydrates, fats , proteins , etc is called a balanced diet.
  3. Cotton is obtained from the fruit of the cotton plants. The cottonseed which is a fruit which on ripening splits open to release white fibers of cotton. (b) Jute is obtained from the stem of the jute plant.
  4. Ginning is the process of removing the seeds and debris from cotton. The term comes from the cotton gin, invented by Eli Whitney in 1794. In modern ginning, the cotton is first dried to remove moisture, then cleaned to remove any burs, stems, leaves, or other foreign matter.
