An accident that you witnessed
On Friday evening, the 16th November 2019, I was coming back home from school. Suddenly right ahead of me I saw a car and a truck collided head-on. I heard the loud crash and the screams of the people in the vehicles. I stopped in shock.
Somehow I reached the wrecked vehicles right in the middle of of the road. It looked frightening inside. Through the broken windows we could see the blood from the wounds of the injured inside the car. A crowd have gathered and many of them trying to help in any way they can. It took several minutes to open the jammed doors and pull out all the passengers. Two of them were unconscious.
Two ambulances and the police were soon on the scene. The police controlled the traffic while all the accident victims were put in the ambulances and driven away to hospital.
I reached home in a thoughtful mood and hoping that no one died and everyone recovered fully.
