The third side must be smaller than the sum of other two sides.

Therefore, it can be anything between 1cm-13cm.

Let, the third side be x.

6cm+x cm>8cm

x cm>2cm

Now, x cannot be 1cm or 2cm.

Again,

8cm+x cm> 6cm

This means that x can be any number.

Therefore, we arrive at the conclusion that x can be anything between 3cm to 13 cm.

Solution:

For third side

8 cm+ 6 cm= 14cm

and

8cm- 6cm = 2cm

Hence,The length of 3rd side will fall between 14 cm and 2cm
