Solution:-
Time taken by Garima to stitch a shirt = 3×1/3 hours = 3 hours 20 minutes [ 3 hours 1/3 × 60 minutes = 3 hours 20 minutes]
Time taken by Garima to stitch a button = 10 minutes
So,
total time taken by Garima to stitch only one shirt = ( time taken to stitch a shirt) + (time taken to stich a button)
= 3 hours 20 minutes + 10 minutes
= 3 hours 30 minutes
= 7/2 hours
Now,
time for 7/2 hours = 1 shirt
time in 1 hours = 2/7 shirts
time in 28 hours = (2/7 × 28) shirts
= 8 shirts
Hence, Miss Garima could stitch 8 shirts in 28 hours.
