$4)(i) \: 12 {x}^{2} - 7x + 1$

$= 12 {x}^{2} - 4x - 3x + 1$

$= 4x(3x - 1) - 1(3x - 1)$

$= (3x - 1)(4x - 1)$

$(ii) \:2 {x}^{2} + 7x + 3$

$= 2 {x}^{2} + 6x + x + 3$

$= 2x( x + 3) + 1(x + 3)$

$= (x + 3)(2x + 1)$

$(iii) \: 6 {x}^{2} + 5x - 6$

$= 6 {x}^{2} + 9x - 4x - 6$

$= 3x(2x + 3) - 2(2x + 3)$

$= (2x + 3)(3x - 2)$
