Once upon a time, there was an elderly man who used to write by the seaside. Every morning before starting work, he had a habit of strolling along the beach. After a significant storm had passed, he was strolling down the shore early one morning when he noticed that the expansive beach was covered in starfish that stretched as far as the eye could see in both ways. The elderly guy observed a young youngster coming up behind him. The youngster was walking, pausing periodically, and the guy could see that he was occasionally leaning down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea as he got closer. As the youngster got more closer, the dad yelled, "Good morning! Could you please explain what you are doing?" Throwing starfish into the ocean," the young child responded after pausing and raising his head. They can't get back to the water by themselves since the tide pushed them up onto the sand, the teenager said. "Unless I throw them back into the water when the sun gets high, they will perish." But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this shore, the old man countered. I'm afraid you won't be able to do anything to change things. The young boy knelt down, picked up yet another starfish, and hurled it into the water as far as he could. Then he turned around, grinned, and remarked, "It changed for that one!"
