Topic - The October Revolution

The October revolution also known as the revolution of October 1917 took place because of the following main reasons -

  • Conflicts were continuously growing between the Bolshevik and the Provisional Government.

  • Lenin persuaded the petrograd society and social party to seize the power.

A socialist seizure was held on 16th October 1917 under the leadership of Leon Trotskii. Consequences of the event of 16th October -

  • After the beginning of uprising 24th October 1917 Kerenskii the Prime Minister left the city to command troops because of fear.
  • Telephone and telegraph offices what taken over by the programming troops.
  • Government offices was east and ministers was arrested by the military Revolutionary committee.
  • The city was finally under the control of the committee.

After Effect of the October Revolution

The Bolshevik party was renamed the Russian Communist Party. The banks and industries were Nationalised, land was declared as a social property and peasants got the permission to seize the land of clergy and nobility and also the Tsar. The old titles of aristocracy were banned. New uniform were designed for the officials and army persons.
