1:Since we want to draw the graph of linear equation 3x+4y=6 and find at what points , the graph cuts the x – axis and y – axis, I added a picture of the graph bellow.

To compute this analytically you can substitute x by 0 and see what is the value of y, and then do the same for y, substitute it by zero and get the vale of x.

In this case we get (0, 1.5), (1.2, 0).

2:If a point lie on a line on graph then the coordinates satisfies the equation of the line

A(1,2)

y=9(1)-7 = 2 satisfied

B(-1,-16)

y=9(-1)-7=-16 satisfied

simulation C will also satisfy the equation.
