The word democracy is derived from two Greek terms Demos and Kratia.Demos means The people and Kratia means The power. These two words together mean The people,s power or the Authority of the people. As such, democracy is a form of government in which the ruling power is vested in hands of the people. The government set up,thus,is answerable to the people who can right fully change it through constitutional means.
