MOTION :- a body is said to be in motion if its position changes continuosly with respect to time and object taken as reference point .
Example:- When train is moving, when someone is walking,etc..
REST :- a body is said to be in rest when its position does not changes continuosly with respect to time and object taken as reference point.
Example:-When a book is store in libarary, any stationary obeject, etc...
