class x cbse .ch- real no. ques- find the smallest number which leaves remainder 8 , 12 when divided by 28 and 32 respectively... can anyone tell me the logic behind this. I want the real logic behind this question

therefore we have to find LCM and
for finding LCM we have to add the remainders to the dividend
therefore 28+8=36
32+12=44
LCM =36=2×2×3×3
44=2×2×11
therefore the Lcm is 2×2×3×3×11=
396
logic if you divide any number and it will give remainder then the number who diveded the number (means divident is not factor of the number)so for making the factor of the number we add the remainder to it
so we can find its LCM
