Hi ,

( 5/3 )^-2 × ( 5/3 )^-3 = ( 5/3 )^8x

[ Since a^m × a^n = a^m+ n ]

( 5/3 ) ^ -2 -3 = ( 5/3 )^8x

( 5/3 ) ^ -5 = ( 5/3 )^8x

[ If a^m = a^n then m = n ]

-5 = 8x

x = ( -5 /8 )

I hope this helps you.

Heya

(5/3)^ -2 × (5/3)^ -3 = (5/3)^8x

=> (5/3)^ -2 + (-3) = (5/3)^8x

=> (5/3)^ -2 -3 = (5/3)^8x

Since , bases are same

=> -5 = 8x

=> x = -5/8

Thanks
