Ali symbolises love patience and faith. these are the essential elements which bind the world. Justify the statement in the context of the story The Letter.

Ali displays qualities of love and patience. Ali was completely different in his young days when he was a hunter. His life turned upside down the day his daughter left him after her marriage. He gave up hunting as he could not bear the terror of separating young partridges from their parents. He would go to the post office everyday in the morning at 4 and stay there till the evening waiting for his daughter's letter. Patience, love for his daughter and faith in the divine kept him warm in the bitter cold. Despite five years passing by he still awaited the letter and did not lose hope. This shows his reformed character full of love and patience.

yes when Ali was around 20 's he had great vision and hearing.but after her daughter's left him,after he becoming old he came to know the importance of love .so he waited every morning for letter from daughter. so he understands about. patience and faith.
