For which position of the object does a convex
lens form a virtual and erect image? Explain
with the help of a ray diagram.

                   Convex lens

virtual image is formed  when     u < f, the object is placed inside the focal distance.  The reason is the rays like BM and BP from object AB diverge after refraction from the convex lens.
