An ecosystem is a composition of living organisms and non living components such as air, water, and mineral soil.The ecosystems are classified into many types depending upon a number of factors. They are generally classified into two classes such as Natural and Artificial ecosystem. Artificial ecosystems are natural regions affected by man’s interferences such as lakes, reservoirs, townships, and cities. Natural ecosystems are basically classified into two major type such as aquatic ecosystem and terrestrial ecosystem. Aquatic ecosystem can be broadly classified into Marine Ecosystem and Freshwater Ecosystem.
