Depending upon the mode of secretion,glands are classified into endocrine glands,exocrine glands and mixed glands.Endocrine glands secretes directly into the bloodstream such as pituitary gland and thyroid gland.Exocrine gland secretes into the epithelial tissue through ducts such as sweat and salivary glands.Mixed glands secretes through ducts and well as without ducts.Ex of mixed hands is pancreas.
