the materials which can be decomposed by natural process is called biodegradable and the materials which cannot be decomposed by natural process is called nonbiodegradable

biodegradable waste-
the kind of waste that we gereate that can be decomposed by microbs when kept in open or in soil for some time are know as biodegradable waste.
it is often safe for the environment
examples-vegetable peel,animal waste,orange peel etc.

non biodegradable waste-
the kind of waste that is generated which cant be decomposed by decomposers (microbes)after keeping in soil and remain unaffected in the environment for long time.
these generally are harmful to our environment.
eg-biscuit packets,glass,plastic pens etc
