There.are two main types of crops based on seaoson. They are_
Kharif crops- These crops are grown in summer season. Means there seeds are sown in this season.
Rabi crops-These are grown in the opposite seoson i.e in winter season.

1-Rabi crop:- Crops which are grown during winter season i.e October and November and are harvested at the end of the winter season i.e March and April are classified as Rabi Crop
Eg:- barley, mustard, sesame and peas,wheat alfalfa,coriander,mustard,fenugreek,isabgol
2-Kharif Crop:-Crops are sown at the beginning of monsoon i.e May to July and harvested at the end of the monsoon i.e September to October
Eg:- Jowar, Bajra, Rice, Maize, Cotton, Groundnut, Jute, Hemp, Tobacco
