a group of words that contain a finite word and has Subject and predicate that forms a part of a sentence is called a Clause.
A clause that a can stand on its own is called the main clause . It is also known as the independent primary or principal clause .
Clause is of three kinds :
•Noun Clause
•Adjective Clause
•Adverb Clause
1) Noun Clause :
the class that performs the function of a noun in a sentence is called the noun clause
for example - Juhi wondered if Jain would come to a party .
2) Adjective Clause : the closest that act as adjectives the modifier describe the nouns , these are adjective clause
for example - The car that you purchased needs a fresh coat of paint .
3)Adverb Clause : The clause that act as adverbs the sentences . an adverb Clause is this the work of an adverb. it modifies the meaning of verb , adjective or even another adverb
for example - when I have finished my work.
