A major difference between human eye lens & camera lens is as follows :

As distance between eye lens & retina is fixed, image distance is always fixed. But focal length of eye lens changes according to object distance.

On the contrary, focal length of camera lens is fixed but image distance changes according to object distance.

Eye lens are small and photograpic lens are big .

Used for correction of eye where as photograpic lens are used for scope.
