ClF3 exist but fcl3 does not why

Hello dear friend,
The querry u asked about , can be understood in the sense that:
See  as u can understand the electronegativity of fluorine is more than chlorine.
It also has absence of "d" orbital in its outer shell , so its completely impossible for it to hold two more chlorines . Whereas chlorine has a vacant "3d" orbital in that it can hold  the fluorine. This is how formula is made.
